A workflow that uses Claude Code to run the full cold outbound motion from strategy to campaign launch into Instantly and HeyReach.

How it works

Step 1: Map the strategy in Miro

Plan all four layers before any execution.

Account tiering: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 criteria
Buying committee: decision makers, champions, users
Angles: what to lead with for each persona
Offers: one for cold traffic, one for warm traffic

Step 2: List Building

Two ways to build your lists:

Cold ICP by filtering broad across multiple databases:
- Apollo.io for volume
- Ocean.io for lookalikes
- AI Ark for keyword filtering
Signals (capture intent-based leads):
- RB2B for website visitors
- Jungler.ai for LinkedIn engagement
- Fibbler for ad engagement

Step 3: Data enrichment

Run enrichment from Claude Code into Clay.

Add firmographics, technographics, and account-fit signals.
Drive the enrichment workflow from inside Claude Code.
Run QA passes in Clay before moving to segmentation.

Step 4: Segmentation

Split the data by motion type.

Cold ICP: break companies into account segments (e.g. SaaS, agencies)
- Each segment gets its own Clay workbook
- Companies and their context live in the same table
Signals: one Clay folder with a workbook per signal type
- Separate table for website visitors, LinkedIn engagement, and ad engagement

Step 5: Account Tiering

Assign every account a tier based on the effort it deserves.

Run tiering through Claude Code with output in Clay.
Assign:
- Tier 1: Cold email + LinkedIn DM + cold call
- Tier 2: Cold email + LinkedIn DM
- Tier 3: Cold email only

Step 6: Copywriting

Generate tailored variants from a strong manual baseline.

Pick 5 angles that are genuinely different from each other.
Write one fully personalized email by hand as the baseline.
Feed the example email plus a per-row company summary into Claude Code.
Generate a tailored variant for every account.
End with multiple sequences for both motions.

Step 7: Campaign setup and launch

Push all variants into outbound platforms in one step.

Use Claude Code to create and upload campaigns automatically.
Push email campaigns into Instantly.
Push LinkedIn campaigns into HeyReach.
